Description
We are accepting applications for a position in our Special Education Department. Our preference would be an applicant, who can meet the requirements as a "Highly Qualified" teacher in the field of English.
Sahuarita High School is a school of approximately 1400 students in grades 9-12. The school is located 20 miles south of Tucson, AZ. The area is experiencing rather rapid growth, with the master planned community of Rancho Sahuarita accounting for much of that growth. The people who work in our school and live in our community have the advantage of being close to a major city, without having to deal with the usual problems of city life on a daily basis. Our residents are able to take advantage of the amenities of Tucson, such as University of Arizona events, major league baseball spring training and cultural and shopping opportunities.
Another obvious factor that attracts many to our area is the climate. Generally the sun shines, no snow flies and there is much in the way of outdoor activities to be enjoyed on a year round basis.
