RESPONSIBILITIES:
A person in this position is responsible for monitoring and supervising all areas of the
School Food Nutrition Program and to assure the program adheres to all regulations,
policies, and procedures set forth by the local Board, State Board, and Federal guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
(1) Minimum of a Bachelor degree in education, business, nutrition or a related field with
strong emphasis on school nutrition programs.
(2) Preference given to applicants
a. with leadership/supervisory experience,
b. With experience managing federal grants and state/local contracts,
c. Experience in Nutrition Education.
(3) Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Nutri-kids.
(4) Must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function as outlined in the job
description.
(5) Must be ServSafe Certified or willing to complete course upon employment.
(6) Ability to perform with little supervision and work well with others
