Description
We have available two positions to fill before the school year begins -- Director of Financial Aid (.4 FTE) and Associate College Counselor (.5 FTE). The positions could be filled by one person or two people in separate roles.
Associate Director of College Counseling (.5 FTE):
This person will work in cooperation with Bruce Hunter, the Director of College Counseling. Duties include running small group meetings, and working with individual students and families to find a "best fit" for each graduating senior. In addition to VeraCross, the school's new data system, the CC office uses the Naviance program.
Director of Financial Aid (.4 FTE):
The Director's responsibilities include working with families who apply for scholarships and financial aid. The Director works with Alan Sparrow and Kevin Hanson, the other members of the Financial Aid Committee, to award scholarships and aid to current students and applicants.
