World’s Most Famous Teachers: Sir Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton is one of the most important scientists ever to live. His studies laid fundamental groundwork in almost every category, including physics, mathematics, astronomy, mechanics, and theology. His work Principia is still considered one of the most important scientific pieces ever written, as it is considered the groundwork for all classic mechanics. We also have Newton to thank for those long calculus classes, as he is credited with the development of differential and integral calculus.

His three laws of motion were the first insight into gravitational force, a pretty important concept for humanity. Though he did his best to teach all that he discovered, the Catholic Church had other ideas. Because his theological and scientific research conflicted with their teaching, the two groups never saw eye-to-eye. Nevertheless, his discoveries have paved the way for any innovation that comes from now until the end of time. For this reason, Newton is one of the greatest teacher in history.
